Sweden Scrapbook Index

Swedes love to fly their national flag, with its simple blue background and the gold cross of Christ. Flags are normally rectangular in shape, but sometimes a long flag banner will float above a house or other building. This same cross motif is found on all the national flags of the Nordic countries. The red, white and dark blue in the text above are the colors of the Norwegian flag.

Fyris canoe trip		Egmont, Åsa, Linda, a Chinese exchange student and I make a day trip on the Fyris River.
Norway trip		We had a delightful visit with Eli and Solfrid at Bømlo and then drove around the south coast back to Oslo.
Europe Conference		The annual Europe Conference is a delightful time of visiting with friends and listening to great teaching.
Touring SE Sweden with friends, 2006		Back in Sweden for a visit of five weeks, we start the trip in mid July with a tour of SE Sweden with some Bible school friends.
Anchorage again (2005)		How can we leave Sweden and our friends? It was hard. But God willing, we will be back again and again in the years to come. Meanwhile: it's great to be back with Glen and Katie and friends in Alaska!

International class reunion		More than 30 of us from the 2003/2004 Livets Ord Bibleschool class gathered for a reunion at our house in mid November.
Estonia team trip		Eight of us from our cell group travel across the Baltic to an Estonian community of 6,000 to encourage a growing church
Our third Swedish home		Here are some pictures of our new home in Sweden. We are occupying the home of some missionary friends while they on the field.

Bible school graduation		It was a beautiful ceremony, but a little sad, too, as we said goodbye to friends of nine months.
Katie's visit		Katie comes to Sweden....and Finland, Denmark and England for almost three weeks.
Free time fair		David and Björn Juneas go to Örebro for a "Free time fair."
Hamburg		David accompanies cell group leader Egmont Mika as he teaches in a Hamburg church.
Julaftonfirande		A Christmas eve party at the church. More than 150 showed up. Here are pictures mainly of the serving crew, of which we were a part.
Class Party		The Bible School invites the International Class to a dinner party. Great fun!
